Volleyball Game Preview: Edgewood Crusaders vs. Watertown Goslings

The Edgewood Crusaders will venture away from home to face off against the Watertown Goslings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Edgewood is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since September 23rd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Mount Horeb 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Watertown hadn't beaten DeForest on the road since October 8, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Goslings came out on top against the Norskies by a score of 2-0.

Edgewood's record now sits at 21-7. As for Watertown, their record is now 23-5.

Edgewood took their win against Watertown when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
