Softball Preview: Danvers Falcons vs. Lowell Catholic Crusaders
The Danvers Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Lowell Catholic Crusaders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Danvers fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Beverly on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
