Basketball Recap: W.S. Neal Comes Up Short

W.S. Neal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 65-51 bruising from the Red Level Tigers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Tigers are ranked 446th).

W.S. Neal's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Red Level, with the victory, they broke their 14-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-16.

W.S. Neal will look to defend their home court on Monday against Northview at 7:00 p.m. Red Level has already played their next matchup, an 81-43 defeat against Brantley on the 11th.
