Basketball Recap: Holy Redeemer Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holy Redeemer). Everything went their way against the Milwaukee Lifelong Learning Wizards on Wednesday as Holy Redeemer made off with a 92-68 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for Holy Redeemer as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak.

It was another big night for Trejuan Carrington, who posted 35 points. Another player making a difference was David Oatis, who scored 21 points.

Holy Redeemer's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Milwaukee Lifelong Learning, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Redeemer will square off against Bowen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Milwaukee Lifelong Learning, they will take on Barack Obama Career & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
