            Volleyball Preview: Nipmuc Regional Warriors vs. Marlborough Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            The Nipmuc Regional Warriors will head out on the road to  square off against  the Marlborough Panthers  at 12:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Nipmuc Regional will come into the  contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Nipmuc Regional is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Massachusetts' top teams: Wachusett Regional, who was ranked 25th  at the time (Nipmuc Regional was ranked ninth). The Warriors put the hurt on the Mountaineers with a sharp  3-0 victory on Monday.
 One reason for the win was Nipmuc Regional's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15,  25-11.

  Evan Donlan was the offensive standout of the  match as he  had 14  digs and three  aces. That's the most  digs  he has posted  over his last eight  games.  Miguel Machado also deserves some recognition as  he  had his first  kills of the season.
 The home team had won the previous four meetings between Marlborough and North Middlesex Regional, and Marlborough kept the tradition alive. The Panthers blew past the Patriots 3-0 last Monday.
 Nipmuc Regional's win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Marlborough, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
 Everything went Nipmuc Regional's way against Marlborough in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023, as Nipmuc Regional made off with  a  3-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success,  or do  the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
