Volleyball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hagerman Pirates, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-15.

Alexis Beutler was nothing short of spectacular for Hagerman: she had 33 assists and eight digs. Beutler has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Hagerman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Lighthouse Christian on the 14th. As for Hagerman, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Glenns Ferry on the 14th.
