Baseball Recap: Gateway Charter Griffins vs. Immokalee Indians
Gateway Charter was the 11-5 winner over Immokalee when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Gateway Charter Griffins came up short against the Immokalee Indians on Thursday, falling 11-2. Griffins fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Indians since on Thursday.
Gateway Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edilson Alvarez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Andres Perez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
