Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Heritage's record is now 0-10. As for Lord Botetourt, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will welcome King's Fork at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lord Botetourt, they will host William Byrd at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Terriers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Cavaliers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
