Softball Recap: Blaine Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Blaine's offense. They came up short against the Lynden Christian Lyncs on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Borderites' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Blaine has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Lynden Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blaine is set to face off against their familiar foe Nooksack Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lynden Christian will take on rival Mt. Baker at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
