Basketball Recap: Valdez Takes a Loss

Valdez suffered their biggest loss since January 3rd on Friday. They had to suffer through a 57-19 loss at the hands of the Lathrop Malemutes. The defeat continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Malemutes: they've now lost six in a row.

Valdez now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Lathrop, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Valdez has already played their next game, a 71-33 loss against Barrow on the 14th. As for Lathrop, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-25 defeat against Mountain City Christian Academy on the 14th.
