Basketball Recap: Washington County Comes Up Short

Washington County lost against St. Luke's Episcopal back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Washington County Bulldogs fell just short of the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats by a score of 54-52.

Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they moved to 2-14 with that victory, which also ended their 14-game losing streak.

Washington County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Chickasaw at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chickasaw has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they and Clarke County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
