Basketball Game Preview: Heath Bulldogs vs. Utica Redskins

The Heath Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Utica Redskins at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Heath is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Heath is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell just short of Northridge by a score of 52-50 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since December 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, Utica played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 57-34 to Newark Catholic. The Redskins were down 44-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Utica has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Heath, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Heath came up short against Utica in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 48-39. Can Heath avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
