Johnson City had won eight straight home games and Aliya Hankey did her part to make it nine on Wednesday. The Johnson City Wildcats put the hurt on the Owego Free Academy River Hawks with a sharp 49-26 victory which was due in part to Hankey, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 15 points and six boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 46% in the last 13 games she's played.

Johnson City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. Owego Free Academy's record is now 4-6.
