Baseball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 6-1 to the Piedmont Highlanders.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Piedmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Concord and Piedmont will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bears see the field they'll take on Berean Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Piedmont, their break will end when they face Alameda at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
