Baseball Recap: Maurepas Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Maurepas can now relate to. They lost 8-0 to the Claiborne Christian Crusaders on Wednesday. The Wolves were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matchups prior), but the Crusaders' pitchers proved too tough.

With the loss, Maurepas broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 25-10-1. As for Claiborne Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-13.
