Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Sheldon has already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Okoboji on the 11th. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 victory against Sioux Center on the 11th.
