Soccer Recap: PikeView Comes Up Short

PikeView lost against Nicholas County back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-1.

PikeView's goal came courtesy of Kolbey Craghead, which was the first she's scored this season.

PikeView's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Nicholas County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1.

Looking ahead, PikeView will be playing in front of their home fans against Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nicholas County, they will head out to take on Grafton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Nicholas County are facing Grafton at the right time seeing as Grafton are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
