Martin came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Sam Houston Texans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Martin took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Martin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Foley, who had seven digs and three aces.

Foley wasn't the only good servers: Martin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive contests.

Martin's record is now 21-16. As for Sam Houston, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-26-1.
