Central is a perfect 4-0 against Waynesville since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Tigers at 6:40 p.m. Central's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They lost 8-0 to Nixa on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Central have lost by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Waynesville was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Glendale, falling 8-0. Waynesville haven't had much luck with Glendale recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Waynesville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Central beat Waynesville by a goal in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
