Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Homestead's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

Homestead won the last time they faced Appleton West and things went their way on Saturday too. The Highlanders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Terrors.

Among those leading the charge was Samuel Lanthier, who had 16 digs and two assists. Those 16 digs gave him a new career-high.

Homestead is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-15 record this season. As for Appleton West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Waukesha West on the 13th. As for Appleton West, after both having extra time off, they and Notre Dame Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
