On Monday, the Union Area Scotties made easy work of the Fort Cherry Rangers and carried off a 70-49 victory. The Scotties have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Union Area has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. As for Fort Cherry, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Union Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Cherry, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-49 loss against Union on the 17th.
