Soccer Game Preview: Altus vs. Lawton

Altus is 0-4 against Lawton since March of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Altus' offense. They came up short against Noble on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Altus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Noble are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Lawton also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to Elgin on Tuesday.

Altus' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lawton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
