Volleyball Recap: White Cloud's Run of Six Straight Victories Now Over + How To Watch

It was a good run, but White Cloud unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Kent City Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

White Cloud started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-19, 26-24.

White Cloud's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kylie Zimmer, who had 11 digs and three aces, and Aubri Vincent, who had 20 digs and eight kills. Vincent has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 16 times she's played.

White Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Kent City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5-2 record this season.

White Cloud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Montabella on the 16th. As for Kent City, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Morley Stanwood on the 21st.
