Basketball Recap: Dreher Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dreher). They walked away with a 76-63 victory over the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dreher to victory, but perhaps none more so than Austin Glasscho, who posted 16 points. Jamere Singleton was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Despite the loss, Northside Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Hilton Dessausure, who had 22 points along with six boards and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Dessausure a new career-high in blocks (two). Jaylan Weaver was another key player, going 5 for 12 on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Dreher's record is now 4-1. As for Northside Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Dreher wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-43 defeat against Ridge View on the 9th. As for Northside Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 100-59 win against Providence Athletic Club on the 10th.
