Basketball Recap: Biglerville Comes Up Short

Biglerville lost against York Catholic back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Biglerville Canners were dealt a 79-26 loss at the hands of the York Catholic Fighting Irish. While losing is never fun, the Canners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 710th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 263rd).

Biglerville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for York Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Biglerville has already played their next contest (against Bermudian Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. York Catholic has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Hanover.
