Baseball Recap: Plainfield South Comes Up Short

Plainfield South and Minooka squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Plainfield South had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 9-1. The Cougars have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Plainfield South now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Minooka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Plainfield South nor Minooka have any future games scheduled.
