Volleyball Recap: Riley Huck Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Corinth

Warrensburg won the last time they faced Corinth and things went their way on Friday too. The Burgers blew past the Riverhawks 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-20.

Warrensburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Huck out in front who had 19 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Huck a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ahni Nix, who had 19 assists and six aces.

The victory got Warrensburg back to even at 1-1. As for Corinth, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Warrensburg will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Saratoga Central Catholic at 6:45 p.m. As for Corinth, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Hoosic Valley on the 13th.
