Brant Gulizia Makes It Two for Auburn

Keeping Ligouri company is Brant Gulizia, a fellow Auburn player. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

This season, Gulizia has averaged 9.6 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging two receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 16.71 receiving yards.

A Season-Best Effort from Mason Lintz Leads Syracuse over Falls City

On Friday, Syracuse got the W thanks in part to Mason Lintz playing the best football he has all season. Lintz rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The win was the third in a row for Syracuse, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Lintz and Syracuse will square off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cy Petersen Turns in Season-Best Effort

Syracuse was led to victory by Cy Petersen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Petersen rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.

Falls City's probably not too fond of Petersen given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Petersen saw the Tigers), he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns.
