Basketball Recap: Aurora East Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Aurora East Tomcats had to suffer through a 67-36 loss at the hands of the Minooka Indians. While losing is never fun, the Tomcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 597th, while the Indians are ranked 215th).

This is the second loss in a row for Aurora East and nudges their season record down to 4-15. As for Minooka, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-8.

Aurora East will head out to face off against Larkin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minooka, they will host Joliet Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Minooka is facing Joliet Central at the right time seeing as Joliet Central is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
