Basketball Game Preview: Galt Warriors vs. Del Campo Cougars

Having just played yesterday, the Galt Warriors will jump right back in to play the Del Campo Cougars at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Galt is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Valley: they outscored them in every quarter. Galt put the hurt on Valley with a sharp 38-14 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since January 5th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Galt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexandra Gonzalez Landa, who posted two points and seven steals. Antanella Feilbach was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Galt smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Del Campo duked it out withFlorin on Thursday. The stars were shining brightly for Del Campo in a 39-24 victory over Florin.

Galt's record now sits at 2-6. As for Del Campo, their record now sits at 4-7.

Galt came up short against Del Campo when the teams last played on December 3rd, falling 26-22. Can Galt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
