Central A & M is 9-1 against Warrensburg-Latham since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Central A & M Raiders will take on the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Central A & M will be strutting in after a win while Warrensburg-Latham will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Central A & M turned things around against Shelbyville on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-36 victory over the Rams.

Meanwhile, Warrensburg-Latham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Clinton, falling 56-31. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Maroons are ranked 168th).

Central A & M's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-14. As for Warrensburg-Latham, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Central A & M skirted past Warrensburg-Latham 68-65 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Does Central A & M have another victory up their sleeve, or will Warrensburg-Latham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
