Soccer Game Preview: Maple Mountain vs. American Fork

The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles will take on the American Fork Cavemen at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Maple Mountain was handed a four-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past Mountain Ridge 2-1. Maple Mountain wouldn't have won without Piper Hoyt, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, American Fork kept a clean sheet against Mountain View on Thursday. They beat the Bruins by a goal, winning 1-0. American Fork haven't had any issues with Mountain View recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory got Maple Mountain back to even at 1-1. As for American Fork, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
