Last Saturday, Math Civics & Sciences beat Eagle Academy II by the very same score they won with last week: 55-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Math Civics & Sciences.
Math Civics & Sciences got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sair Alsbrooks out in front who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds. Maki Hill was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Chester gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against Abraham Lincoln by a score of 54-47.
Their wins bumped Math Civics & Sciences to 2-0 and Eagle Academy II to 2-1.
Math Civics & Sciences couldn't quite finish off Chester in their previous matchup back in February of 2021 and fell 63-60. Can Math Civics & Sciences avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
