Lake-Lehman won the last time they faced Wyoming Seminary College Prep and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights came out on top against the Blue Knights by a score of 5-2.

Sam Finarelli was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Chris Sholtis, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Lake-Lehman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake-Lehman will head out to challenge Hanover Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawkeyes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.69 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they are taking a road trip to face off against Tunkhannock at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Knights are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
