Basketball Recap: Chief Sealth Takes a Loss

Chief Sealth lost against Ingraham back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chief Sealth Seahawks took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ingraham Rams. The game marked the Seahawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Chief Sealth's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Ingraham, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chief Sealth will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mt. Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Ingraham, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Archbishop Murphy at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
