Baseball Recap: Osage Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Osage's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They never let the Central Springs Panthers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since June 14, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Osage pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Central Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Osage will face off against New Hampton on Tuesday. The Chickasaws' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Green Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Central Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
