Magna Vista had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the William Byrd Terriers. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Terriers back in March, they had to take a 9-6 loss.

Magna Vista pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for William Byrd, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
