Basketball Recap: Edgemont Comes Up Short

Edgemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 64-45 to the Hulett Devils. While losing is never fun, the Moguls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 152nd in South Dakota, while the Devils are ranked 50th in Wyoming).

Edgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Hulett, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hulett beat Edgemont by a score of 64-45 on Thursday.
