Football Game Preview: Forrest City Mustangs vs. Bald Knob Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Forrest City Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Bald Knob Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Forrest City's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.

On Friday, Forrest City came up short against Mills University Studies and fell 41-32. The Mustangs have struggled against the Comets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Forrest City might have lost, but man, Kevin Young was a machine: he rushed for 161 yards and two TDs while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Young's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. Forrest City also got help from Roderick Tiswell, who showed off his sure hands for 83 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Bald Knob had to suffer through a 49-13 loss at the hands of Heber Springs.

Bald Knob's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Forrest City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Forrest City against Bald Knob in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
