After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Central, South Newton was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the North White Vikings 16-14. This was payback for the Rebels, who suffered a 26-20 loss the last time these two teams met.

A big part of South Newton's win came down to the chemistry between Lyle Harrington and his top target RJ Buckley.
