Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New London). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the East Hartford Hornets 80-19. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Whalers with their most commanding win of the season.

New London's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for East Hartford, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New London will square off against East Lyme at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Hartford, they will challenge East Catholic at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. East Catholic will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something East Hartford surely won't give up without a fight.
