Recap: Alief Hastings Bears vs. Randle Lions
The Alief Hastings Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 43-33 to Randle. Alief Hastings lost against Randle in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 55-46 score last time.
Alief Hastings' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Eyanu, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Victor Okeke, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Alief Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Randle, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.
Alief Hastings will face off against Hays at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hays presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Alief Hastings in Texas (Hays is ranked 444th, while Alief Hastings is ranked 1160th). Randle's road trip will continue as they head out to face Crosby at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Crosby is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
