Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Ranch Mustangs vs. Cypress Springs Panthers

Cypress Ranch and Cypress Springs are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Cypress Ranch Mustangs will be playing at home against the Cypress Springs Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cypress Ranch comes in on three and Cypress Springs on four.

On Friday, Cypress Ranch didn't have too much trouble with Langham Creek as they won 48-33. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Lobos are ranked 428th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cypress Springs got the win against Cypress Lakes on Friday by a conclusive 66-43.

Cypress Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Cypress Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.
