Softball Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Victorious

The Graham-Kapowsin Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Stadium Tigers 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Jessika Jennings was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Macee Matison was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Izzy Vargas, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Graham-Kapowsin lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stadium only launched one home run.

Graham-Kapowsin's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Stadium, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

As of now, neither Graham-Kapowsin nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
