Baseball Recap: Patuxent Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Patuxent entered their tilt with Lackey on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Patuxent pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Lackey, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Patuxent will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas Stone at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Lackey, they will take on Calvert on Monday.
