Baseball Recap: Wake Prep Academy Gets the Win

Wake Prep Academy came out on top against Knightdale on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Guardians walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Guardians.

The team relied heavily on Garrett Watkins, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since April 1st. Another player making a difference was Easton Booser, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Wake Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Knightdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Wake Prep Academy nor Knightdale have any future games scheduled.
