Volleyball Recap: Cyprus Has No Trouble Against East

Cyprus's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the East Leopards. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cyprus was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-14.

Cyprus' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for East, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Cyprus is taking a road trip to take on Stansbury at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Granger at 1:00 p.m.
