Harlingen's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Ray Texans get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Considering the Cardinals have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jozalin Bravo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. Harlingen hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in six consecutive contests.

Harlingen's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Ray, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
