Baseball Recap: Munroe Takes a Loss

After soaring to 22 runs the game before, Munroe was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Hamilton County Trojans, falling 12-2.

Munroe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jon Gay, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Munroe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hamilton County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Munroe is taking a road trip to face off against Wakulla Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 win against Echols County on the 21st.
