Loudoun County had won nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 7-0 to make it ten. They put the hurt on the Loudoun Valley Vikings with a sharp 31-7 win. The Captains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 24 points or more this season.

Montez Dyson produced another solid performance rushing for 193 yards and four scores. Dyson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 118 every time he's taken the field this season.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Loudoun County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Loudoun Valley only rushed for 122.

Having lost for the first time this season, Loudoun Valley fell to 5-1. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 13 points allowed.

Despite the loss, Loudoun Valley still got an impressive performance from Ethan Lafollette, who rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown. Lafollette was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.

Loudoun County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Woodgrove at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Loudoun Valley, they will face off against Broad Run at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
